After graduating from Moore College of Art in Philadelphia, she arrived in NYC in the mid 1970s, having studied painting, photography, and 3 dimensional design. In the 1970s she was known for pieces that combined projected images with sound and set pieces. A solo piece was shown at 112 Greene Street; she collaborated with Willoughby Sharp on several other exhibits in that venue. Other 1970s works were shown at The Kitchen, Ideas at Idea Warehouse, and the Franklin Street Arts Center.
